My career in the insurance industry began in the mid 1970s. During this time I have been proud to be

a part of an industry that has provided financial protection to many businesses and individuals who

have suffered through some major catastrophes and disasters including:

 

- 1974 Brisbane Floods

- 2006 Tropical Cyclone Larry

- 2008 The Gap Storms "Brisbane"

- 2011 Queensland Floods

- 2012 Tropical Cyclone Yasi

- 2013 Tropical Cyclone Oswald

 

In the early years, I held various claims and underwriting positions with major insurers before

rising to the position of Branch Manager for various insurers including:

In 2001 my career took a major change, I moved from the underwriting stream to become a fully qualified insurance broker. Eventually I started my own business as an authorised representative for Marsh Pty Ltd and in 2014 moved over to Westcourt General Insurance Brokers, that later merged with National Adviser Services to form Community Broker Network Pty Ltd (CBN).

 

On 6th March 2023 I moved from CBN to McLardy McShane Partners Pty Ltd.
